Founded by Colin Tyler who has over 50 years of aircraft engineering experience, Tyler Aeronautica has been in business, managing aircraft, for over 14 years. Being independent we are not limited to suppliers and can negotiate prices on our client's behalf for them to make the buying choices.
We offer a full range of airworthiness services delivered with excellent customer service as well as technical knowledge. We are proud to have one of the largest aircraft approval lists in the UK and work with clients, both private and commercial to manage their aircraft.
Colin Tyler
Director
Colin started his career in the Royal Air Force in 1969 as an apprentice aircraft engineer at RAF Halton. After his spell in the RAF, Colin moved to CSE Aviation in Oxford and worked his way up through the organisation. After moving on to gain his engineering licence, he returned to CSE as Production Manager. With the regulation changes Colin moved onto become a maintenance manager for an AOC operation and later evolving in Part M. After seeing an opportunity with the industry changes, Colin setup Tyler Aeronautica in 2006.
Damian White
Director
Damian started in the industry in 1993 as an engineering apprentice and spent 10 years in a hangar environment working on variety of aircraft including turboprops and a range of business jets. Moving to an AOC organisation, Damian became more involved in the maintenance management of the aircraft as well as still being hands-on. Damian joined Colin in 2006 to become a director of Tyler Aeronautica and has held both the Quality Manager and currently the Continuing Airworthiness Manager roles within the organisation.
Mike Greenall
Airworthiness Maintenance Planner
With a background in engineering, Mike joined Tyler Aeronautica in 2013. He has completed a number of aviation related courses to gain an extensive knowledge of the CAMO role and has helped to developed the procedures and processes in use today. Mike is very customer focused and has a great attention to detail, making him a great asset to the team.
